The Good Old Beast

Set during the Napoleonic wars in Germany, "The Good Old Beast" follows Helge, a father devastated by the loss of one son and the suffering of another. Driven by grief and a desire for revenge, he summons a legendary werewolf that roams the forests at night, punishing soldiers who commit war crimes. Produced through the Iran-Germany exchange program at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, we filmed in the winter of 2021 in a forest near Berlin. I was selected as production manager for this project, chosen from a competitive three-stage selection process, collaborating with art students from both countries to bring this dark folklore to life.
